Shopping for someone who is expecting a baby can be difficult. You should keep in mind that there are some things every new parent needs. There are also some things that they can never have enough of. If you are shopping for a baby shower then here is a general list to go by to help you out some. This is my personal list and I hope it will save you some time.

The moment they leave the hospital you will need a car seat. Most hospitals won’t release baby unless you have one of these. A good one to buy is the Graco Car Seat. These are tested for safety and the prices are low enough to afford. Some hospitals may provide a car seat but you should be sure or have an extra. It keeps baby safe and it’s the law.

Plenty of diapers and clothes should be on your list as well. Make sure you have baby wipes to. These are essential and you can never have enough. You may look at the pile of clothes and wonder when baby will ever wear them all but they tend to go through clothes quickly.

Soap, powder, oil, and lotion are must haves as well. While you are at it you will want to pick up a baby bath. These are small tubs designed for baby to make bathing easy and safe. Keep in mind that you should never leave baby alone for even a minute when they are in the tub.

Babies also seem to use a lot of blankets especially during the colder months. These are a must have to help prevent baby from catching a cold. A sick baby is no fun for mom and dad plus it can be very hard for a new born. Blankets can also be used to lay baby on and you always need plenty close by.

When you take baby out then you will need a stroller. They have double and single strollers available. The Graco Stroller is a nice brand and they tend to be durable. Graco has a lot of nice items available for baby and I have always found them to be a good company with quality products.

Buy early and make sure you have everything you need for the arrival of baby. Having enough of what you need will save you time and make your life much easier.
